A Photographer’s Journey
Since he first picked up a camera, Joshua has relished taking pictures, capturing glimpses of the beauty and unique personality seen in each one of God’s ultimate masterpieces: people. After more than 10,000 pictures, he began studying the art of composition and photographic techniques in more depth, which has included participating in an international photographers’ seminar. With 13 years of traveling and living overseas, Joshua has documented a variety of events, experiences, cultures, and phenomenal stories through the focus of a camera lens.
Focusing the Lens
Currently, Joshua is finishing a degree in linguistics while exploring the rich photographic landscape of Chicago. He shoots for a local newspaper, interns as a photo editor, and greatly enjoys capturing portraits for the wonderful people represented in the diverse cultures throughout Chicago’s cosmopolis.
